Hyper Text Media Project
For the project, I wanted to create a narrative horror piece that breaks the fourth wall. I chose an abstract concept that turns the hypertext itself into a character, blurring the line between the story and the medium. A key integration of the piece was an original song I made that is portrayed as an audible virus that traps the player inside the computer. To meet the visual requirement, I repurposed photos of my friends from the still photo project, turning them into characters within the story. I also recorded audio with a friend to complete the narrative, giving the character trapped inside the computer a voice.
