Social Media Short Story

For the social media short story, I decided to use Instagram Stories. The reason for this was to give the viewer a narrative flow between each section of the story. I believe this choice worked in my favor, as social media platforms will often push whichever post is performing best rather than displaying posts in the correct narrative order. I think if I had chosen any other format, I wouldn't have been able to execute the project in the way I did. For the media portion, I decided to draw a man with his brain exposed and connected to wires. The reason for this was that my aim with this story was to convey a message about the chokehold that technology has on our daily lives. Although conceptualizing an image that effectively represents the project was difficult, I think I was able to pull it off.
